Attendance
- All the students are expected to be present in the school 5 mins. prior to the school timing. In any circumstances habitual latecomers will not beallowed.
- At least 75% attendance in all terms respectively (working days) during the Academic Year is a prerequisite for promotion to the next grade level.
- The school reserves the right to withhold promotion in case the minimum attendance requirement is not fulfilled.
- When a child is ill for a prolonged period, the parents/guardian must write and inform the Principal. A medical certificate should be given along with the application.
- Unauthorized absence from school for 15 days or more renders a student’s name liable to be struck off the roll.
- Children are expected to attend first day and last day of school at the beginning and end of every academic session.
- Medical appointments should be made after school hours, unless there is anemergency.
- Absence due to illness should be intimated at once. Prior permission is required even for short absence of a day for social or religious functions.
- Parents are requested to take prior permission of the Principal if their ward is participating in any extra activity outside school within the school hours.
- Absence during examination especially Term Exam is not appreciated and wil not be condoned.
- Submission of Leave application to school does not mean approval. It is important that your child takes leave only after all necessary approvals by the principal.
Leave
- Leave is to be applied only on the printed form available in the diary.
- No student shall absent himself / herself without leave previously sanctions from the class teacher & Principal except in unforeseen circumstances.
- No student who is absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without a leave letter from the parent, addressed to the class teacher stating the reason.
- In case leave is asked for any reason of sickness for more than 3 days, a medical fitness certificate must be submitted on resuming classes.
- Health and safety of all children is a matter of deep concern and of prime importance. During recovery from an infectious ailment, the child should be quarantined at home as advised by the doctor. A medical fitness certificate should be submitted to the office. In the interest of everyone concerned, the school reserves the right to deny permission to attend class. In the event of a child feeling all during school hours, information given in the school form will be considered for immediate action.
- Students will not be permitted to go home during school hours. Parents are requested not to make any social engagements or medical appointments during school hours. To ensure better discipline, parents are requested not to send their children to school on the day they have such appointments.
- Leave for special reasons other than sickness is required to be obtained in advance by the parent from the Principal only
